Alix Newman is a Los Angeles based interdisciplinary artist and scenic designer. As a third year student at California Institute of the Arts, they are pursuing a BFA in Design and Production, with a focus in Scenic Design and Technical Direction. Alix is fascinated by how physical worlds tell stories and is also deeply passionate about exploring our subconscious realities and possible impossibilities. In their own practice, they also explore the topics of memory, identity, disease, and systems. They are extremely excited by opportunities to learn, grow, and work collaboratively.
